Her background as a government-licensed mortgage underwriter and former California Real Estate Licensed Appraiser gives her a comprehensive understanding of credit risk, valuation, and regulatory standards. She approaches every relationship with diligence, integrity, and a focus on delivering long-term value for partner institutions.
Educational Experience
Prior to joining AVANA CUSO, Christyna built her career in residential lending as a highly decorated mortgage underwriter specializing in FHA, VA, and conventional real estate loans. She also held licensure as a California Real Estate Appraiser and served in multiple management roles within the banking industry, strengthening her expertise across underwriting, valuation, and operational leadership.
Christyna pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate at the University of Arizona Global Campus (formerly Ashford University). Beyond her professional work, she is actively engaged in addressing homelessness in her community and is passionate about creating positive change for underserved populations.
